Welcome to Light Effect Photography!

Gary Larsen is a photographer living in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, in the historic town of Edinburg. His images preserve the subtle light, shadows, and patinas of the scenic landscapes, aging structures and beautiful flowers he finds in nature throughout the United States.  His travels take him all over the U.S. to find the unique photographs he creates.

Gary has shown his photographs in a number of solo shows and frequently displays his work in group shows and exhibitions in galleries and museums. His images have appeared in Adirondack Life and Shutterbug magazines. He has just published his second book of photographs.
